About the treatment

Whether you require single or multiple dental implants to achieve the perfect smile, both can be achieved in one day. The dental implants are placed during a small surgical procedure, where a titanium screw (also known as the implant) is inserted into the jawbone, effectively replacing the root of a tooth. Once in position, a connecting piece called an abutment and a temporary crown or bridge is fixed on top, so that you can leave our practice with a fantastic smile that very same day. Once a few months have passed and the jawbone and gum has healed around the new implants, we will replace the temporary crown or bridge with a permanent one, so that your new smile will last a lifetime.

Common questions for same day teeth

Anyone can get same day teeth, providing they have sufficient jawbone to place the implant into and they do not require any pre-implant treatment. This can be established during a scan in your initial consultation.

Following any dental implant surgery, a soft food diet is recommended for the first week. After that, your diet can more or less go back to normal, even with your temporary crowns (with the exception of really chewy or crunchy foods such as nuts, toffees or raw vegetables). After a few months, when you get your permanent crowns, your diet can go completely back to normal.

We can design and shape your dental implant to match your existing teeth, so that it looks perfectly natural. No one will be able to notice you have an implant at all!

Yes! We can use full arch restoration, or All-on-4 or 6 to replace full sets of teeth in just one day (providing the jawbone is sufficient enough to place the implants into).

Absolutely. Providing that the dentist placing your implants is a trained and experienced professional, getting implants in one day is safe.
